Before reporting a problem

Refresh or restart Anotavis and confirm the problem still occurs.
Check whether the issue is limited to one file, one workspace, or one connected service.
Use a current supported browser or operating-system release and retry after installing available app updates.
Disconnect and reconnect an optional provider if the problem affects GitHub, Google Drive, YouTube, or AI access.
02

What to include in a report

The Anotavis version and platform: web, iOS, Android, or macOS.
A short sequence of steps that reproduces the issue and what you expected to happen.
Screenshots or a minimal sample Markdown file, after removing personal or confidential content.
Relevant error text, but never passwords, API keys, OAuth tokens, recovery codes, or private repository content.
GitHub Issues are public. Review the repository security page for a private reporting option before sharing vulnerability details or other sensitive information.
03

Local files and recovery

Anotavis works with files and folders you select. Before reinstalling the app, clearing browser data, changing file permissions, or testing destructive file operations, make a separate backup of important workspaces.
If a file is missing, first check its original folder, operating-system trash or recycle bin, cloud-drive version history, and Git history. Anotavis cannot restore files that were permanently removed from those locations.
04

Connected services

GitHub, Google Drive, YouTube, and AI providers each control their own availability, authentication, quotas, and account policies. A provider outage, expired authorization, revoked permission, or account restriction can interrupt only that connected feature.
Disconnecting and reconnecting a provider can refresh authorization. Review the provider’s account dashboard when the service reports a quota, billing, access, or policy error.
05

Privacy requests

For questions about what Anotavis processes, read the Privacy Policy first. Do not include private account or security information in a public issue; review the repository security page for available private reporting options.
Local application data can be removed by deleting files, clearing application storage, disconnecting providers, or uninstalling the app. Provider-side data must be managed through the corresponding provider account.

Release status and response expectations

Anotavis is being prepared for its initial iOS, Android, and macOS test releases. Features and support procedures may change during testing. Reports are reviewed as development capacity allows; this page does not promise a guaranteed response time.
